Even though entering their first-ever continental campaign, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Missing key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to seal straight entry to the last 16, particularly following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Moment
This occasion provided a chance for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second consecutive succession.

The home side were hanging on for dear life. Full-back Kameron Ledwidge was fortunate to avoid a booking for a couple of robust tackles on Yeremy Pino, before Chris Richards rattled the woodwork with a header from a corner.
Pino Seals the Contest
The match was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring his very first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
